Position Overview:
We are hiring a Residential HVAC Service Manager to lead, coach, and develop our service technicians while driving department performance. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be in the field, in the numbers, and in your team’s development every day. Your mission is simple: Improve technician performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage residential HVAC service technicians
- Conduct ride-alongs and provide real-time, in-field coaching
- Review service tickets for quality, pricing, and opportunities
- Drive department KPIs: revenue, average ticket, conversion rates
- Ensure high-quality customer experience on every call
- Work closely with dispatch to maximize efficiency and capacity
- Train and develop technicians in both technical and communication skills
- Hold team members accountable to performance standards
Required Qualifications:
- Proven leadership or management experience
- Strong ability to coach, develop, and hold people accountable
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- HVAC service management or residential HVAC experience
- Strong understanding of data and performance metrics (KPIs, revenue, conversion, average ticket)
- Driven, self-motivated leader with a results-oriented mindset
- College education or equivalent professional experience
- Experience using ServiceTitan or similar CRM systems
