Residential Service Manager

Position Overview:
AnyDay Heating & Cooling is seeking a seasoned Residential Service Manager with a proven track record in HVAC service management and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong operational oversight, team leadership, and a commitment to delivering exceptional residential HVAC services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Supervision & Development: Lead, train, and coach a team of service technicians and advisors, ensuring they have the skills and motivation to deliver top-notch service.
  • Operational Leadership: Direct daily service operations, including scheduling, dispatch, field supervision, and customer escalations, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Customer Experience Management: Implement customer service standards that align with AnyDay Heating & Cooling’s commitment to satisfaction; resolve escalations promptly and professionally.
  • Quality Control & Safety Compliance: Uphold and enforce high standards of quality control and safety in all service operations, including compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Manage departmental budgets and resources, optimizing labor hours, materials, and inventory to control costs while ensuring high-quality service.
  • Performance Metrics & Reporting: Track and analyze KPIs, including response times, customer satisfaction scores, and technician productivity; report findings to leadership to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years in a management or supervisory role in the HVAC or a related home services field; experience managing field technicians is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and service industry practices; familiarity with compliance standards and industry certifications.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field related to HVAC is preferred.
  • Certifications: HVAC-related certifications (such as EPA 608) are highly desirable.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and HVAC-specific software for scheduling, inventory, and reporting.
  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

  • Leadership & People Management: Strong ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team with a hands-on approach.
  • Customer Service Focus: Strong customer-oriented mindset, with proven ability to manage challenging situations and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Excellent troubleshooting skills; able to make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 per year, with potential performance-based incentives.
