About the Role

We’re looking for a Call Center Manager to lead our dynamic customer service and dispatch team. You’ll be responsible for overseeing call volume, optimizing sales conversions, and using innovative tools (including AI) to elevate team performance and customer satisfaction.

You’ll succeed in this role if you’re organized, strategic, tech-savvy, and genuinely passionate about people—both customers and your team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the call center and dispatch teams with energy and direction
  • Develop and implement inbound/outbound call strategies to maximize appointments and sales conversions
  • Train and coach team members on call conversion, customer empathy, and effective communication
  • Manage daily dispatch operations and ensure optimal technician-job assignments
  • Refine and roll out compelling call scripts that increase bookings
  • Monitor staff performance and provide constructive, actionable feedback
  • Resolve customer issues swiftly and positively
  • Oversee all lead generation platforms (Hatch, Google LSA, Thumbtack, Web Forms, Service Direct)
  • Coordinate with marketing team on 3-day board status and promotional efforts
  • Track KPIs and prepare reports for leadership
  • Stay on top of industry trends and customer expectations
  • Ensure adequate staffing to meet seasonal fluctuations
  • Leverage AI and emerging technologies to boost team performance and efficiency

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in customer service or call center leadership (required)
  • Experience with call center technology platforms (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (preferred)
  • A growth mindset and hunger for innovation
  • Strong leadership skills rooted in patience, empathy, and professionalism
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to inspire, organize, and drive a team to achieve goals
  • Comfort learning and applying AI tools and evolving technologies
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • No college degree required—just a passion for excellence and results

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Salary: $24.00–$26.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday with occasional on-call responsibilities
  • Remote Work: Not available – in-office role based in Garner, NC
